San Francisco-based artist, Benny Gold, gives us a preview of his Doughboy New Era 59Fifty cap as part of the 2008 Fall/Winter Collection. Inspired by the same hat worn by Ice Cube’s character Doughboy in the cult classic Boyz N The Hood from 1991, the hat has made the jump from a snapback into the fitted caps seen here. A custom font design is seen on the front with further details including the BG paper plane logo and argyle underbrim and liner. The design is inspired by Ice Cube’s character in the movie, Boyz N The Hood. It will come in blue and beige with a tonal paper plane argyle print and a simple B logo.
